Why gyms churn members
The first 90 days decide retention. Members who do not form a habit or a social tie cancel quietly. Attendance software tells you they stopped coming. It does not give them a team that notices. Gym Wars is the missing rec-league layer: someone on the roster is counting on them, and the other team is on the board.
What we are not
Not a CRM. Not a billing system. Not a class scheduler. Not a cash-prize product. Members play free. You hang a poster (and optionally a TV). That is the whole install.

What do gyms get today?
A QR poster members scan to join your gym’s Gym Wars roster, an optional lobby TV scoreboard, and a read-only owner dashboard that shows who is about to ghost. Six members start Blue vs Red. If another gym nearby fills a roster, they play that gym instead. Free this season for pilot gyms. No gym login. No contract.
Will this cost money later?
Yes — we plan to charge gyms later for community and retention (lobby TV, churn list, roster tools). Pilots are free so we can prove it with real gyms first. There is no published price yet.
Is this another gym management SaaS?
No. We do not replace Mindbody, PushPress, or your billing. Members already have iPhones. OutGrind is the rec league layer: gym vs gym, verified attendance, a scoreboard people actually look at.
Do members need to pay?
No. Gym Wars and Rivals are free for members.
